Books

Magozine publishes books that explore ideas, culture, society and personal transformation through a critical and independent perspective.

Our books grow out of the same research and editorial work that has shaped Magozine since 2007: essays, reviews, historical research and reflections on freedom, social change, symbolism and alternative ways of thinking.

This page collects our books available in English.

Anarchy Here and Now

Freedom as a Daily Practice

anarchy here and now

Anarchy Here and Now: Freedom as a Daily Practice explores anarchism not as a distant utopia or a future event, but as something that can begin in everyday life.

What does it mean to live more freely today, within a society still shaped by hierarchy, authority and concentrated power?

The book moves away from the idea of anarchism as a sudden insurrection and focuses instead on a gradual practice of freedom: taking responsibility for ourselves, caring for others and for the places we inhabit, building cooperation, reducing domination and creating spaces of autonomy wherever possible.

Anarchy becomes not a perfect condition waiting at the end of history, but a direction.

A path based on presence, mutual aid, voluntary cooperation and the construction of beauty and harmony in everyday life.

The book also explores the connection between political freedom and personal transformation. Changing society cannot be completely separated from changing the relationships, habits and forms of power that we reproduce in our own lives.

Anarchy Here and Now is therefore both a reflection on anarchist thought and an invitation to ask a practical question:

How much freedom can we begin to build here and now?
